Abstract

Indijska književna dela 'Pančatantra' i 'Varlaam i Joasaf' ostavili su vidljive tragove u srednjovekovnim slovenskim književnostima, naročito u južnoslovenskim, gde su našli pogodno tlo i sredinu. Za to svedoče brojni slovenski rukopisi u različitim redakcijama, od XIII do XIX veka. U radu se osvrćemo na uticaj ovih motiva u narodnom stvaralaštvu makedonskog naroda naročtio zbog činjenice da Benefeju nisu bili poznati svi ovi mitovi.
