Abstract
In the first, second and third centuries of the new era the territory of the Balkan peninsula was entirely or in its greater part comprised within the frontiers of the Roman Empire. In this period coins were stamped in a large number of local mints in the Balkans. Until recently almost nothing has been known on the chemical composition of copper, bronze and brass coins from these mints.Metrics
