Abstract

It is considered that the territory of the eastern part of the Roman province of Dalmatia was inhabited by the population of the same ethnic and cultural identity. The process of the romanization of population in the eastern part of the Roman province of Dalmatia can be reaserched throught epigraphic material from gravestone and votive monuments, and morphological characteristics of gravestones.
